| 2003 Vienna builds a new Chicago Pickle Co. facility in Palmetto, Fla., to join its Los Angeles and Battle Creek, Mich., plants. | 
| 2004 Vienna enters the Guinness Book of World Records with the longest hot dog ever—37 feet and 2 inches—at the renowned Taste of Chicago food festival. | 
| 2004 Jodi & Chris Kosary move from Lansing, IL to Rensselaer, IN so Jodi can be closer to her family. Chris will commute to his office in downtown Chicago for a little over a year more (85 miles each way!). | 
| 2005 Vienna and Rosen’s Buns sign a "Piece Treaty" promising hot dogs and buns will be available in equal-sized packs. | 
| 2005 Chris "retires" from work in Chicago and Devon's Doghouse is born at the corner of Kannal & College Avenues in Rensselaer, Indiana. Chris promises to serve the food he grew up on in Chicago, the way it was meant to be served. He uses only the best he can buy and keeping with the Vienna tradition, makes it an affordable and filling meal for everyone. With the help of the people at Vienna Beef, the restaurant gets off to a great start! |
